Structural Engineer

Join a high-performing engineering team delivering major mining and infrastructure projects across WA. This role will see you responsible for the design, analysis, and delivery of structural works across a range of project phases—from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant structural solutions while working alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design and analysis across concrete and steel structures
• Develop and review calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
• Support project delivery from concept, FEED, and detailed design through to execution
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and project teams to ensure integrated design outcomes
• Conduct site inspections and provide engineering support during construction and commissioning
• Identify risks, design issues, and opportunities for optimisation
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications

About You

• 5 + years of demonstrated experience as a Structural Engineer in mining, resources, or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, standards, and materials
• Ability to manage priorities and work both independently and within a team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety in design delivery

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered status
• Experience with relevant design software (e.g. SpaceGass, Strand7, ETABS or similar)
