Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed structural steel models and drawings using Advance Steel.
  • Develop design documentation for fabrication and construction.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to deliver project outcomes.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Ensure designs meet relevant Australian standards and client requirements.

About You

  • Approximately 5–10 years’ experience as a Structural Designer.
  • Strong proficiency in Advance Steel is essential.
  • Experience delivering structural steel designs within mining, industrial, materials handling, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience working on balance machine, rotating equipment, or materials handling projects.
  • Previous experience within engineering consulting environments.
  • Availability to work from a Perth-based office.
