About the Company:
Our client, a leading US and Australian manufacturer and supplier to the mining industry is seeking a Store Person to join their team in Welshpool on a long-term basis, Specialising in manufacturing reverse circulation drills which are used for exploration, this company also provides rebuilds, maintenance and servicing.
About the Role:
You will be required to perform the following duties:
- Operating the 4-tonne forklift manoeuvring 12m lengths of steel and also pallets
- Processing inwards and outwards goods
- Pick, pack and put-away of goods
- Processing sales orders
- Conducting inventory management & stocktake duties
- Loading and unloading truck
To be successful in this position you will need:
- The physical capability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen (including the ability to climb stairs and ladders)
- Full Australian working rights (sorry no holiday visa's)
- Current forklift license
- Current Australian Driver's license and vehicle to get to and from work
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience with reach & turret trucks, Bendi & Aisle Master Forklifts (advantageous)
- Strong commitment to safety with knowledge of safety regulations and concepts
Remuneration & Hours:
- $43.75 p/h Flat Rate + Super
- Mon - Fri; 6:00am - 2:00pm with encouraged OT until 5pm
