Pearl Recruitment are seeking a reliable Storeperson / Forklift Operator for our client who is a respected provider to the marine, mining & defence industry. Based in the North-eastern suburbs of Perth, this role offers an immediate start.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse / production environment and takes pride in keeping operations organised, efficient and safe. The position offers long-term stability, ongoing training and the opportunity to learn specialised skills within a niche industry.

**Position Details:**Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support day-to-day warehouse and yard operations, ensuring stock is received, stored and dispatched. Key duties will include:
- Operate the forklift to safely move oversized products throughout the warehouse and yard, including loading and unloading containers and trucks
- Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch to local and remote clients
- Maintain accurate stock locations and bin systems while completing general warehouse and yard duties including stock relocation, material handling and clean-up
- Perform manual labour and regular heavy lifting as part of daily warehouse operations
- Assist with receipting, stock tracking and order monitoring using the internal ERP system and Excel (previous ExoNet experience highly regarded)
- Support warehouse organisation and storage efficiency improvements
- Coordinate outgoing freight and transport bookings
- Complete occasional customer deliveries and supplier pickups in work vehicle
- Assist the production team with stock supply and general material handling as needed
About You:
To be successful in this position, you will require the following:
- Current High Risk Forklift Licence with at least 1 year operating experience
- Previous warehouse/storeperson experience, ideally within a production or manufacturing environment
- Intermediate computer skills and experience using ERP systems (ExoNet highly regarded)
- Proactive attitude with strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol assessment
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
