Store Person Barminco are seeking experienced Store Persons to join our team at Garden Well on a 2/1 FIFO roster. About the Role
As a Store Person, you will play a critical role in supporting site operations by ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, distribution, and control of materials and equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight using manual handling equipment and forklifts
- Receiving, inspecting, and processing deliveries
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control processes
- Participating in stocktakes and inventory audits
- Ensuring warehouse and storage areas are maintained to a high standard
- Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with company policies and procedures
- Supporting operational teams with timely supply of parts and materials
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential:
- Current Forklift Licence
- Valid Australian HR Driver's Licence
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a stores, warehousing, or logistics role
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Highly Desirable:
- Previous underground mining experience (3+ years)
- Experience working in a FIFO or remote site environment
- Exposure to mining inventory and procurement systems
