About the Role

As a key member of the maintenance team, you'll ensure the efficient receipt, storage and distribution of parts, consumables and materials to keep our maintenance operation running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, inspecting and dispatching inbound and outbound freight
• Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift
• Ordering, monitoring and managing diesel fuel supplies
• Maintaining inventory records, manifests and stock registers
• Issuing parts and consumables to maintenance personnel
• Conducting stocktakes and monitoring inventory levels
• Maintaining an organised, clean and safe stores environment
• Supporting the wider maintenance team as required

About You

You're an experienced mining Storeperson who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and supporting maintenance teams to deliver safe and efficient outcomes.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Previous experience as a Storeperson in an open cut coal mining operation
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or the ability to obtain)
• RIISAM202D – Isolate and Access Plant and Equipment
• Current Forklift Licence and High Risk Work Licence
• RIIVEH201D – Operate Light Vehicle
• Current Queensland HR Driver Licence
• Strong computer skills and inventory management experience
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
