About the Role

The Site Systems Specialist will be based onsite Mon-Fri at Goonyella Riverside Mine, reporting to the Superintendent Site Systems. 

This position is offered as a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with frontline teams to identify improvement opportunities

• Preparing and facilitating risk assessments

• Document writing and review

• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to providing support to address needs and concerns

• Implementing and maintaining filing systems, databases, and other tools to ensure information is accessible and organised

• Participating in Field Leadership activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities

• High attention to detail with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness

• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills, including active listening

• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and maintain efficient workflows

• The ability to adapt to change and handle challenges in a dynamic work environment

• A sound understanding of Coal Mining Legislation (advantageous)

• Experience in risk assessment facilitation and document writing a must
