ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, in this role you will be accountable for performance of the IT Service Desk, including key performance indicators and governance across Bravus Australia’s ICT environment which includes Mining, Rail, Port, Renewables and corporate functions The role ensures IT services are delivered in a responsive, structured, efficient, safe and compliant manner.

This position is a permanent position based in the corporate Brisbane office, with a possible initial placement at our regional office in Bowen, Whitsundays Queensland, for a temporary and short period.

Other qualifications and attributes required include:

Necessary:

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT service desk/service delivery, IT governance, or operational IT environments; experience in mining/rail/port/industrial or regulated environments.
  • Current Australian C class drivers licence.
  • Strong understanding of IT risk, compliance, and service reporting frameworks.
  • Hands-on technical capability across enterprise IT environments (endpoint, identity, collaboration, remote support).
  • IT assets Management, software licensing, permissions & usage reviews, and lifecycle planning.
  • Dashboards development and service performance metrics (e.g., Power BI)
  • Strong analytical skills, and documentation management.
  • Stakeholder engagement with ability to influence cross-functional teams to meet quality outcomes.

  • Strong Governance & Compliance Awareness.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement across all facets of the role’s accountabilities.
  • Ability to independently travel across Bravus operational and corporate sites (Mine, Port and Rail) as required.

Desired:

  • ITIL Foundation (minimum); advanced ITSM certification preferred.
