Newmont APAC Operations are located in Western Australia, the Northern Territory, New South Wales and Papua New Guinea, with roles in operations, projects, corporate support and exploration. APAC Business Unit Support is provided from our offices in Brisbane, Subiaco and Melbourne.

Your impact
As a Specialist, Global Delivery Centre Liaison, you'll work within a global the supply chain function, connecting regional stakeholders across nine regions with the Global Delivery Center and working directly with teams in Costa Rica and Papua New Guinea. You'll use your supply chain and procure to payment experience to navigate a complex operating environment, manage escalations and ensure business needs are clearly understood across regional and global teams.
As part of our team, you will
- Build clear communication between regional stakeholders and the Global Delivery Center, providing guidance and facilitating effective escalation of issues.
- Manage and facilitate supply chain escalations, providing guidance and coordinating the right stakeholders to drive resolution.
- Build effective relationships across multiple levels of the business, from analysts and operational teams through to team leads and directors.
- Work across procurement, sourcing and procure-to-pay activities to ensure regional requirements and service issues are understood and addressed.
- Strengthen knowledge sharing, stakeholder coordination and continuous improvement between regional teams and the Global Delivery Center.
Prerequisites for success in this role
- Supply chain experience gained within a complex business environment, with knowledge across procurement, sourcing or related supply chain activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability, with confidence engaging across multiple levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage escalations, facilitate conversations and guide stakeholders towards effective outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively across global teams and adapt your communication and approach to different stakeholders and operating environments.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA; experience with Ariba would be advantageous.
Your work environment
Our Brisbane-based team enjoys flexible Monday to Friday work arrangements, balancing time between the office and working from home. Our modern Fortitude Valley office is conveniently located near public transport and local cafés. Occasional travel to site operations and other interstate Newmont hubs may be required to support the broader team.
You'll work flexibly across nine regions, including directly with teams in Costa Rica, and engage with stakeholders ranging from analysts and operational teams through to functional leaders and directors. Travel is required as needed, including travel to mine operations and Costa Rica once or twice a year. The role has no direct reports.
