About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering core FBP accountabilities for Samarco NOJV across operation and reparation activities. In addition, this role will support the Principal FBPs to execute the team’s accountabilities and processes as required.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Minerals Americas FBP team in delivering Finance’s purpose and vision through proactive business partnering.
- Engage collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and subject matter experts, applying governance frameworks to influence outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, providing challenge, insight and constructive feedback.
- Prepare high‑quality financial presentations that clearly communicate key messages and outcomes from planning and reporting processes, with a primary focus on Brazil NOJV.
- Manage and execute two‑year budget (2YB) and quarterly forecast submissions, including preparation of instructions and presentation materials.
- Integrate functional cost inputs (global and regional) related to Brazil NOJV to ensure accurate and consistent financial outcomes.
- Execute timely and accurate provisioning and reporting activities to generate insights for internal and external decision‑makers.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, digestible insights that support effective decision‑making.
- Develop strong business partner relationships across functions and with external stakeholders as required.
- Identify root causes of issues, evaluate multiple solutions, and apply structured problem‑solving approaches to complex challenges.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying value‑accretive opportunities focused on what matters most.
- Demonstrate consistent commitment to the BHP Charter and Code of Business Conduct.

About You
- Degree qualification in Business (Finance or Accounting).
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience working with a large corporate or professional environment in a business partnering capacity.
- Demonstrated financial planning process knowledge, data analytics and diagnosis with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver as needed.
- Ability to deliver without relying on formal hierarchical structures.
- Bilingual Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
- Experience working with Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 11.0 (embedded), SAP Analytics Cloud planning and PowerBI highly advantageous.
