About the Role

Join our Recruitment Marketing and Candidate Experience team, where you will play a key role in helping BHP attract and engage exceptional talent across our global portfolio.
As a Specialist Candidate Marketing & Branding, you will shape and execute our recruitment brand strategy across multiple touchpoints, ensuring a consistent and compelling candidate experience throughout the Talent Acquisition journey. You will design engaging messaging and creative campaigns that resonate with diverse talent pools, inspiring candidates to connect with BHP and remain engaged as they progress through the recruitment process.
Working closely with global stakeholders and reporting into Australia, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence how BHP is perceived as an employer, drive innovation in candidate engagement, and contribute to a more inclusive and impactful hiring experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams, GBS HR, HRLT, Corporate Affairs, and digital and communications teams to deliver impactful recruitment marketing outcomes.
  • Drive equity and inclusion across the recruitment process, supporting diverse candidate groups including people with disabilities, indigenous communities, and women.
  • Personalize recruitment branding and candidate messaging across advertising channels and platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, and newsletters.
  • Monitor and continuously improve the company’s career site using data-driven insights.
  • Identify the most effective tactics and platforms to reach targeted talent audiences.
  • Track and benchmark competitor campaigns, online presence, and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize digital recruitment campaign performance, promoting collaboration and leveraging internal capabilities.
  • Create and manage recruitment branding materials, including banners, candidate communications, and email content.
  • Lead and execute marketing campaigns for graduate programs in Chile, including social media initiatives, university engagement, and internal/external communications.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance candidate experience and strengthen BHP’s employer brand to attract the right talent.

About You

  • Academic background in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Experience in Talent, Marketing, Communications, or similar areas, ideally with exposure to employer branding, candidate/customer experience, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and lead initiatives independently.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality work and making a positive impact on team outcomes.
  • A creative approach, balancing innovation with brand consistency.
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (SSFF) and Power BI is highly desirable.
