FIFO Shutdown from Perth to Port Hedland
Scope – Casual ongoing as part of our shutdown circuit team
Roster – 12hour shifts working Days & Nights
Nightshift Allowance – 15% uplift
Variety of future works as part of our casual shutdown circuit team

The Opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Special Class Welder’s to join us for a shutdown in Port Hedland, WA. The initial work scope includes routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of a variety of equipment types such as dust and diesel systems, chutes & liners, and conveyor rollers. This is an opportunity to join our casual ongoing Shutdown Circuit Team, providing access to a pipeline of future shutdowns and maintenance works across remote and regional WA. Successful candidates will be considered for ongoing project opportunities as part of our established workforce.

About You

Trade Certificate
Construction Induction / White Card
Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, and Enter and Work in Confined Spaces within 5 years
Fire Certificate within 5 years
Ability to pass a 3G/4G weld test
MSIC – Highly desirable
Prior experience in a FIFO role performing Boilermaker duties
