Description & Requirements

Monadelphous are seeking an experienced SMP Coordinator to join our PNG Operations team, based on site in Papua New Guinea on a FIFO 3:3 roster for the next 6-8 months.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of structural integrity remediation works. The role involves managing client priorities, workforce allocation, project schedules, and plant and equipment requirements to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of works. Key responsibilities include maintaining quality and compliance documentation, providing leadership and support to site personnel, and ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and relevant regulatory obligations. The position plays a critical role in driving operational performance and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

What you will bring:

• Mechanical trade – experience in structural remediation preferred
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a national workforce in the field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
• Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
• Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
• Experience working in PNG or remote locations (highly regarded)
