Job Description

The Opportunity

The Site Engineer – Electrical, is responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing electrical projects and ensuring safety, quality and compliance. Please note this role is based on site on a FIFO roster.

Key Accountabilities

  • Developing electrical designs and project plans ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Overseeing installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including substations and transmission networks.
  • Ensuring all electrical works adhere to safety protocols and relevant regulations.
  • Monitoring project progress, conduct inspections and maintain documentation to meet the client’s quality standards.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to align project delivery with client expectations.

About You

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven background in Electrical Engineering for Brownfield Substation projects.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in Utilities projects.
  • Effective project management and communication abilities to coordinate timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
