About the Company
Our client is a national and international construction company who specialises in civil infrastructure, road recycling and project management. They are seeking a site engineer with a relevant engineering degree, strong technical and communication skills, and a proven track record in civil delivery.
About the Role
Site Engineer Position Rate: $55 - $60/hr + penalties Location: Lismore, NSW Full Time Hours Immediate Start
- Setting Out: Mark precise baseline reference points and structural positions on-site using surveying equipment.
- Project Execution: Oversee daily field operations to ensure civil works progress according to the master schedule.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections and log documentation to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate daily tasks for subcontractors and provide clear technical direction on-site.
- Design Interpretation: Review and translate technical engineering drawings and calculations for the construction crew.
- Safety Enforcement: Maintain a zero-harm workplace by enforcing strict site safety protocols and risk assessments.
- Cost Tracking: Monitor material deliveries, audit quantities, and log progress to keep expenditures within budget.
- Site Documentation: Maintain accurate daily site diaries, material tracking logs, and quality inspection reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Civil or Structural engineering
- Proven track record working on civil infrastructure or road construction projects.
- Driver’s License, white card and reliable transport
- Full Australian working rights
