Job Statement
We have a great opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our Commercial & Administration team at our Leonora Operations.
Reporting to the Superintendent Camp & Administration, we are seeking a highly motivated Administration Officer to join our busy site team supporting the Leonora Operations. This is a fast-paced role and you will be given the opportunity to show case your administrative skills in a customer-facing role. Your ability to create positive working relationships at all levels of the organisation will be paramount, as will be your ability to juggle multiple tasks.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, working 8 days on, 6 days off roster. The role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth WA, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora.
The opportunity
- Provide efficient, confidential and timely processing of Site Access Compliance applications.
- Enforce visitors, new employees and contactor site entry procedures.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, site movements and associated requirements for employees, contractors and visitors, including changes, follow up and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate accommodation, travel and site access records across relevant systems
- Possess an efficient professional telephone manner along with a professional approach at the front reception desk.
- Coordinate reception and all contractor and site visitor induction processes.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism when handling sensitive personnel, contractor and operational information.
- Coordinate and follow up flight, accommodation, camp and maintenance related matters, including resident enquiries, no shows, late changes, recurring service issues and escalation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the General Manager of the Leonora Operations.
- Support the Commercial Manager with contractor management and projects as required

- Strong computing skills, general office administration and experience with accommodation management software – Inflight, SAMS, PeopleTray.
- Demonstrated relevant resources industry experience in a site based environment.
- Excellent MS Office skills particularly using MS Word and Excel.
- Professional, flexible and adaptable attitude with a positive customer service approach.
- Ability to be a supportive team player and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence others.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, conflicting priorities, and on multiple tasks.
- High level of enthusiasm for the work with high performance goals.
- Commercial acumen relevant to the role.
- a current unencumbered ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
