Our client is a well-established contractor operating within the coal mining sector, delivering critical site support services across regional Queensland. Known for their strong safety culture and operational excellence, they are seeking reliable and experienced personnel to support a them on site.
Your new role
As a Haul Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of large haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner, conduct pre-starts, inspections and routine checks. The role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work 12.5 hour shifts on a 7/7 FIFO roster. This role suits operators with proven experience on CAT 777 or above who are looking for strong earning potential and a genuine work–life balance.
What you'll need to succeed
FIFO Only from Mackay to site
Minimum 12 months' mining haul truck experience
Training transcript /LMS/Skills List signed by an SSE or SSE Delegate
VOC – must be signed and dated by an authorised person/SSE
RII certificate from RTO
Current Standard 11, Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain) & a valid driving licence
A strong commitment to safety

What you'll get in return
You will receive an attractive hourly rate of $56.20 - $69.20 + Super (Must have Truck CAT777 or above). 7/7 day and night lifestyle roster with 12.5 hour shifts, and FIFO travel from Mackay. Flights, accommodation and meals are provided, allowing you to focus on work life balance while maximising your earning potential. FULL TIME - Rates Breakdown:
- Haul Truck (single skill), minimum CAT 777 - $56.20 p/h
- Haul Truck (minimum CAT 777), Dozer (D10/D11) & one other skill (Water Cart or Grader) - $64.14 p/h
- Excavator (Liebherr 996, 9800 or 9400) and Dozer (D10/D11) - $69.20 p/h
