About the Role

Techforce Personnel are currently seeking experienced Shotfirers and Blast Crew to join our team across multiple major mining operations throughout the Western Australian Goldfields region. If you have proven Drill & Blast experience and are looking for stable, ongoing work with industry-leading clients and long-term career opportunities, we want to hear from you.

With immediate starts available, you'll play a key role in safely executing blasting activities while contributing to production targets across a range of Goldfields and Iron Ore operations.

What's on Offer

• Shotfirer up to $68ph (depending on experience)
• Blast Crew up to $50ph (ticket required and depending on experience)
• 2:1 or 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth
• Long-term opportunities with potential for permanent employment
• Immediate starts available
• Ongoing work with leading mining contractors

Key Responsibilities

• Safely handle, transport and load explosives
• Prime, stem, tie-in and load blast holes to specification
• Conduct blast guarding and support firing operations
• Maintain compliance with site safety standards and blast procedures
• Work collaboratively to achieve production targets

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a production Drill & Blast environment
• Experience as a Shotfirer or Blast Crew member
• Current Shotfirer's Licence (Shotfirer applicants)
• Current WA Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
• Current Manual Australian Driver's Licence
• Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
