About the Company
Our client is one of Australias leading pit-to-ship mining services provider with an expanding portfolio of world-class commodity projects and a focus on pursuing cleaner, cost-effective energy for their operation's.
What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct pre-blast inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessment's
- Priming, loading, tying-in, and firing blast holes
- Handling, transporting, and storing explosives in line with regulation's
- Coordinating blast exclusion zones and communicating with site teams
- Monitoring blast performance and reporting outcomes
- Maintaining accurate blast records and compliance documentation
- Working closely with drillers, engineers, and supervisors to optimise blast results
What You Will Need
- Must hold DG card & Australian shotfirer license
- Manual C Class Australian issued Driver s Licence (minimum)
- Willing to obtain national police clearance
- Medical or D&A screening
