SRG Global Mining Services is looking locally for skilled Shotfirer members to join our long-term project in Queensland on a DIDO 7:7 roster. The project site is located in Bogie within the Whitsunday region in QLD and is suited to candidates who are residential to the area.

You’ll be working with a professional team that values clear communication, safety, and efficiency - backed by competitive pay, modern equipment, and industry-leading facilities.

What you’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and planning blasts.
• Handling explosives and ensuring safety
• Clearing and securing blast areas.
• Reporting incidents and completing documentation.
• Magazine Keeper responsibility – Completing stocktakes & inspections
• Using Nonel accessories
• Using 1” hose to load Emulsion products in 102mm to 140mm blast holes
• Training and leading the blast crew to reach safety and production targets

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a Hard rock shotfirer role.
• Competitive rates – Up to $64.14 per hour
• Shotfirer License (QLD)
• Dangerous Goods Security Card (QLD)
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
• A valid Driver’s License (manual).

Bonus Points for:

• HR Class Driver’s License.
• Dangerous Goods Driver’s License (QLD).
