Shotcrete Sprayer - Bellevue

Barminco has successfully tendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Project located approximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia’s Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.

This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than 80% of the site’s power requirements through renewable energy sources.

About the Role

As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Underground Shotcrete Operator to join the team on a full-time basis, working a 7/7 or 14/14 FIFO roster. These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.

Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

• Operate a Normet SF050D sprayer to apply ground support in underground headings

• Prepare work areas, including hydroscaling and fibrecrete as required

• Monitor shotcrete thickness, quality, and coverage to meet design specifications

• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on shotcrete plant and equipment

• Work closely with jumbo, charge-up, and service crews to maintain safe work sequences

Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes

• Previous experience working as a Shotcrete Operator working in underground mining

• Demonstrated ability to operate shotcrete spraying equipment (manual or robotic)

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures

• Relevant operating tickets and licences

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
