About the Company
Joining a well-established underground mining contractor operating on a large-scale copper and base metals operation in North West Queensland. This site offers a strong safety culture, modern equipment, and long-term project stability within a high-performing underground team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Underground Shotcrete Operators seeking a balanced FIFO lifestyle with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster with FIFO options available from Townsville, Cairns, or Brisbane.
About the Role
Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating underground shotcrete equipment safely and efficiently
- Applying shotcrete in line with site ground support requirements
- Conducting pre-start inspections and maintaining equipment standards
- Working effectively within a production-focused underground crew
- Adhering to all site safety procedures and operational requirements
- Working across both day and night shifts on a rotating roster
About You / Requirements
- Previous underground shotcreting experience
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence
- Ability to work in a physically demanding underground environment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
- Relevant underground mining tickets and competencies highly regarded
