Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out blasting activities in accordance with site procedures
• Preparing, loading, and firing blast patterns safely and efficiently
• Conducting pre-blast inspections and safety checks
• Maintaining compliance with all legislative and site requirements
• Working closely with production and drill and blast teams

About You / Requirements

• Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence
• S1, S2 and S3 competencies
• G8 and G9 competencies or equivalent
• Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate (SSAN) clearance
• Previous experience in a coal mining environment
• Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Desirable: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
• Desirable: Previous experience delivering on-the-job training or mentoring

Qualifications & Certifications
