Serviceperson – Emerald Region

Protech currently have an exciting opportunity for a Serviceperson to join the maintenance team with a client located near Emerald in the Bowen Basin.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• 6 months leave coverage with potential for full-time with the client.
• Even time 7:7 roster rotating days and nights (12.5-hour shifts)
• BIBO Emerald to site
• Fantastic team environment
• Perfect for Emerald locals & surrounding areas. Home every night.
• Owner/Operator operation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Service Person, you will play a key role in supporting mining operations by:

• Refueling, servicing and maintaining heavy mining equipment.
• Operating and maintaining the mine service truck.
• Managing fuel supplies and maintaining accurate service records.
• Maintaining safe work practices and supporting site compliance standards.

ABOUT YOU

• Mining experience required
• RII – Service Mine Plant & Equipment
• Light Vehicle trades encouraged to apply
• People with mechanical experience encouraged to apply
• Current Drivers Licence
• Standard 11 Certificate (statement of attainment)
• Ability to provide current Health Assessment and pass a Pre-Employment Medical & undergo Drug and Alcohol testing prior to commencement
• Proof of Australian working rights
• Two Contactable references

Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Proven Service Person experience in a mining environment.
• RII – Service Mine Plant & Equipment.
• Standard 11
• Health Assessment (CBM)
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
