Genesis Mining Services (GMS) is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Serviceperson to join our Maintenance team at our Hub Operation in Leonora.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing gold mining business and work alongside experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters maintaining a modern fleet of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi mining equipment, supporting industry-leading mining operations in the Leonora region.

This is a permanent FIFO opportunity, working a 15 days on, 13 days off roster.

The opportunity:

• Support the HD Fitters with maintenance of Komatsu Rigid Dump trucks, Hitachi Excavators and Caterpillar Ancillary Equipment
• Assist with daily re-fueling of large-scale mining equipment including lubricant, oil and filter inspections
• Workshop and pit duties as required
• Assist with daily re-fueling of large-scale mining equipment including lubricant, oil and filter inspections
• Ensure GMS and site operations procedures and policies are followed.

What we will expect from you:

• Driver’s license (HR License)
• Previous experience in mining either in field services or mobile equipment maintenance
• Experience operating service trucks delivering fuel/lubricants.
• Proven track record of safe operating practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
