Job Description
About the Role
Redpath Mining is seeking motivated Service Crew Operators to join our underground teams across the Norseman region. Working on a 7/7 FIFO roster, you’ll support essential underground services to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install vent bags
- Install water and airline services
- Install grout lines
- Install and move pumps
- Provide services for development headings
- Assist with mesh installation
- Assist with bolt installation
- Assist with plate installation
- Operate underground vehicles and equipment safely
- Conduct pre-start checks and complete safety documentation
- Set up and maintain work areas to a high standard
- Support production and development teams as required
- Perform workplace inspections (Take 5’s, JSAs)
- Report hazards, incidents and near misses immediately
- Uphold Redpath’s strong safety culture: Safety – First, Last and Always
Qualifications
- Previous underground service crew experience (preferred)
- Manual driver’s licence
- Current First Aid & CPR (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to follow clear instructions and work safely at all times
- Strong team attitude and communication skills
- Good level of fitness for hands‑on manual work
- Reliability, initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement
