Key Responsibilities

• The Service Crew are responsible for safely carrying out general service crew work including installation of mine services and conducting face preparation activities.
• Install, maintain, and remove ventilation systems including ducting, fans, and ventilation controls
• Install and maintain site services such as water, air, pump, and electrical reticulation systems
• Install, remove, and maintain pumps and pumping stations
• Operate equipment including the Integrated Tool (IT) carrier and assist with transport of fuel and materials
• Support underground operations including charge-up activities and installation of ground support (e.g. cable bolts)
• Follow all site safety procedures and actively participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks, and shift meetings

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or a similar hands-on industry (underground experience advantageous but not essential)
• Current manual driver's licence with the ability to travel to site
• Sound communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a crew
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a demanding, team-based environment
• Holds or is willing to obtain relevant certifications (e.g. First Aid, Working at Heights, police clearance)
