Job Description
We are seeking experienced Underground Service Crew and Nippers for long-term projects across WA & SA with a renowned specialist underground mining contractor.
Service Crew:

Install and maintain underground services such as ventilation ducting, water pipes, air lines, pumps and drainage systems.

Transport materials, tools, fuel and ground support supplies using underground mining equipment and service vehicles.

Assist development and production crews with setup, maintenance, cleaning and operational support tasks underground.

Maintain underground roads, escapeways, signage, barricades and safe access areas.
Nippers:

Support jumbo operators and development crews by preparing headings, handling tools, cables, hoses and ground support materials.

Deliver and transport equipment, explosives accessories and ventilation bags throughout the underground mine.

Assist with scaling, ground support installation, clean-up, and maintaining safe and efficient work areas.

Operate light vehicles and small underground equipment while following site traffic and safety procedures.

Conduct pre-start checks, identify hazards and comply with underground mining safety and ventilation standards.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Manual Australian Driving Licence
- Dangerous Goods Security Card - DGSC (WA)
- Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate - SSAN (SA)
- National Police Clearance - within 6 months
- Relevant Tickets/Licences
- RPL - Training Transcript/VOC
- Previous underground mining experience required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & DAS
Salary & Benefits:
- 2:2 roster
- Service Crew - $60p/h
- Nippers - $50-55p/h

Additional Information:
- Candidates approved for WA sites will be required to attend a paid 8-hour face-to-face induction at the client's office at Perth Airport.
- Interstate candidates are welcome to apply.
- Flights to point of hire must be covered by the candidate
- Select sites may require candidates to be clean shaven and complete a mask-fit test prior to mobilising to site.
