Job Description

Programmed Energy & Resources are currently seeking highly motivated and qualified Sentry & Trade Assistants to join our maintenance team for upcoming shutdowns & ADHOC opportunities.

  • Sentry: Responsible for monitoring high-risk work areas such as confined spaces and hot work zones, ensuring safety procedures are followed and acting as the first point of response in the event of an emergency.

  • Trade Assistants: Support qualified trades by performing general labouring, basic maintenance tasks and assisting with tools, equipment and site preparation to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Role Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Gas Test Atmospheres
  • White Card
  • Ability to complete online site specific inductions
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol Screen
  • Minimum 12 months experience mining/shutdown experience

Highly Regarded/Role Specific:

  • High Risk Work Licence EWP, Forklift, Dogging , Rigging
  • Hot Works / Firewatch training e.g. CPPFES2005 Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment (Required for Firewatch)
  • LVR/CPR or First Aid
  • National police clearance - within 12 months
