Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hydrology, hydraulics and flood risk assessments across multiple projects.
  • Design surface water infrastructure including culverts, floodways and diversions.
  • Analyse rainfall, catchment and site data to support studies, investigations and risk reviews.
  • Advise project teams on water management requirements that shape design, construction and maintenance outcomes.
  • Prepare scopes, technical reports, specifications and supporting design documentation.
  • Support water approvals and compliance requirements across relevant legislation.

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years’ experience in water resources engineering.
  • Strong capability in hydrological assessments, hydraulic modelling and stormwater design.
  • Must be proficient with TUFLOW.
  • Confident preparing technical documentation and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Experience in mining, consulting or other complex project environments highly regarded.
  • Exposure to water licensing or RiWI Act approvals will be advantageous.
