We're seeking a Senior Water & Wastewater Engineer to play a key role in the design, optimisation and delivery of complex water treatment, desalination and wastewater management projects. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, influence key design decisions and collaborate with a high-performing multidisciplinary team.

Your Role

• Lead water quality and water resource assessments to support major project developments.
• Deliver technical solutions across water treatment, desalination, wastewater treatment and water conveyance systems.
• Review and develop mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs and treatment process designs.
• Provide technical leadership through planning, design, construction, commissioning and operational phases.
• Manage technical interfaces with consultants, contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Support equipment selection, vendor engagement and performance testing programs.
• Contribute to HAZOPs, HAZIDs, risk assessments and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

About You

• Degree qualified in Chemical, Environmental or Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years' experience in water treatment, desalination, wastewater or water infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of water quality management, process design and treatment technologies.
• Experience with mass balances, RO systems, equipment sizing and water system planning.
• Proven ability to lead technical outcomes and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Mining, resources, utilities or major industrial project experience highly regarded.
