Senior Structural Designer

About the Role

Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to join a high-performing engineering and project delivery team supporting major mining and resource sector developments. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of both greenfield and brownfield projects, working across study and execution phases within a collaborative and technically focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design and drafting solutions for mining and materials handling projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D structural models and drawings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project delivery.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Support occasional site visits as required.

About You

• Minimum 6-7 years' experience as a Structural Designer within the mining and resources sector.
• Strong exposure to materials handling infrastructure and associated plant structures.
• Advanced proficiency in MicroStation (2D and 3D).
• Experience with Autodesk Advance Steel highly regarded.
• Familiarity with OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within project teams.
• Willingness to undertake occasional site travel when required.
