Job Statement
Genesis Minerals have an opportunity for a Senior HR Systems Specialist with Workday experience to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Manager, Reward & HR Systems, this is a permanent full-time role as our Workday superuser and SME ensuring our system is set up for success and remains purpose fit for the business.
As Genesis continues to grow, this role will help advance our people systems across our corporate and site operations within the core modules of HCM, Absence, Learning, Recruitment, Onboarding, Talent, Advanced Compensation, and Expenses. Additionally, the role will be responsible for maintaining and developing our various integrations (API, PECI, AD etc.) and managing our external AMS and related partners.
Supported by a small team of Workday specialists, this role will take be the ‘senior’ who manages all internal support; participates in continuous improvement program of works; acts as the technical lead on current & future Workday projects, leads the release management process, and supports the wider People & Culture team and business as our Workday Subject Matter Expert.
This role will also take a senior role in defining and implementing our AI Strategy within the Workday ecosystem.

We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience with Workday HCM configuration including BP’s, Security and Supervisory Organisations, Payroll Integrations (including PECI & API’s), and Reporting, Dashboards & Calculated Fields.
- Experience in system implementation projects and change management processes.
- Good understanding of West Australian mining HR policies, procedures, principles and workflows.
