About the Role
A site-based opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to act as the Owner’s Representative across the construction of a new HV substation, terminal and transmission line.
- Location: Coastal WA location with accommodation & meals provided
- Duration: Sept 2026 – Dec 2027 (16 months)
- Roster: Mon–Fri | 10-hour days
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and verify contractor delivery of HV infrastructure against technical, quality and safety standards
- Monitor construction activities, interfaces and compliance with Western Power specifications
- Support engineering design reviews, programs and constructability assessments
- Provide on-site technical guidance through to energisation and pre-commissioning
About You
- Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer
- 10+ years’ construction experience with strong HV substation exposure
- Proven background in HV energisation and pre-commissioning
- Solid understanding of Western Power standards and requirements
- Strong site presence with ability to manage contractors and interfaces
