About the Company
A leading mining operation is seeking an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join its Fixed Plant Asset Management team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in improving the reliability, performance and maintenance strategies of critical processing assets within a large-scale mining environment.
About the Role
Working closely with operations, maintenance and technical stakeholders, you'll drive reliability improvements across crushing, conveying and material handling equipment while supporting long-term asset performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review and optimise fixed plant maintenance strategies
- Analyse asset performance data to identify reliability risks and improvement opportunities
- Lead defect elimination initiatives, root cause analyses (RCA) and corrective action programs
- Optimise preventative maintenance programs and asset health plans
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to maintenance and operational teams
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve equipment performance and asset availability
About You
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong background in reliability engineering within the mining or resources sector
- Extensive experience supporting crushing, conveying and material handling assets
- Proven capability delivering reliability, maintenance and asset performance improvements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of maintenance strategy development and reliability best practice
- Experience with SAP PM, maintenance master data and asset management systems
- Exposure to fixed plant maintenance and condition monitoring programs
Desirable Experience
- Broad fixed plant processing experience
- SAP implementation or rollout project experience
- Formal condition monitoring qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale asset management improvement initiatives
