Senior Project Engineer - Electrical

About the Role

Senior Project Engineer required to support the Project Manager and leading the project team to deliver several significant infrastructure projects for Australia’s innovative Defence sector. This is a full time permanent position offering a number of employee benefits. Candidates must hold eligibility for an Australian Defence Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site engineering support during construction and installation activities
• Prepare or respond to RFIs, technical queries, NCRs, and design changes
• Verify installation works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project and safety requirements
• Development and implementation of project delivery plans - isolation plans, commissioning plans, etc.
• Compile and creating QA/QC and verification documentation
• Coordinate direct labour workforce, suppliers and sub-contractors
• Quantity take-offs
• Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues

Working Experience

• Electrical infrastructure – Telecommunications/Services experience
• Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering testing and commissioning activities
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in relevant industry
• Understanding of engineering principles
