Our Engineering Construction division is currently seeking a skilled Senior E&I Project Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of a major O&G construction project. This position will be site-based (2:1) managing the successful delivery of this brownfields project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Engineering Construction division who is currently experiencing rapid growth and has a strong pipeline of upcoming large-scale projects!
Key Responsibilities:
- Work pack development and aiding with planning, scheduling and executing the scope of work including organising project resources, equipment and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirements
- Provide advice, technical or functional information as required to Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of work
- Advise on safety procedures. Actively monitor work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance
- Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications and ISO requirements
- Build and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience working in a E&I Engineering capacity, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestones within the mining industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Clear technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change management
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
- Sound knowledge working to AS/NZ ISO: 9001 Quality Standards, Electrical regulations and the Mines Act
- Proof of right to work in Australia
