Your New Role
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will provide generalist HR support across a broad range of people-related matters. Working across multiple operational sites, you will partner closely with leaders to provide high-quality HR support and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Your responsibilities will include
- Partnering with leaders to provide expert HR advice and support.
- Managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- Providing practical industrial and employee relations guidance.
- Building strong relationships with leaders and employees to establish trust and credibility.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and company policies and procedures.
- Supporting workforce planning, organisational change, and people initiatives.
- Assisting with performance management and employee development processes.
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting HR governance, reporting requirements, and compliance activities.
- Maintaining HR systems and managing transactional HR activities as required.
- Assisting with the ongoing enhancement and optimisation of HR systems, including ELMO.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor position.
- Strong generalist HR capability with a particular focus on ER and IR.
- Demonstrated experience coaching, influencing, and partnering with operational leaders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong HR systems capability, including HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience within mining, resources, manufacturing, heavy industry, or remote-site environments.
- An understanding of FIFO operations and the unique challenges of supporting remote workforces.
