Senior HR Advisor

Your New Role

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will provide generalist HR support across a broad range of people-related matters. Working across multiple operational sites, you will partner closely with leaders to provide high-quality HR support and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Your responsibilities will include

• Partnering with leaders to provide expert HR advice and support.
• Managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Providing practical industrial and employee relations guidance.
• Building strong relationships with leaders and employees to establish trust and credibility.
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and company policies and procedures.
• Supporting workforce planning, organisational change, and people initiatives.
• Assisting with performance management and employee development processes.
• Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting HR governance, reporting requirements, and compliance activities.
• Maintaining HR systems and managing transactional HR activities as required.
• Assisting with the ongoing enhancement and optimisation of HR systems, including ELMO.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor position.
• Strong generalist HR capability with a particular focus on ER and IR.
• Demonstrated experience coaching, influencing, and partnering with operational leaders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong HR systems capability, including HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience within mining, resources, manufacturing, heavy industry, or remote-site environments.
• An understanding of FIFO operations and the unique challenges of supporting remote workforces.
