About the Role

As the Senior Geologist, you will take a site-based leadership role overseeing RC and diamond drilling activities while managing exploration staff, contractors and field programs. You will play a key role in exploration planning, target generation, safety leadership, mentoring junior team members and delivering successful exploration outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor of Science (Geology) qualification
• Minimum 8+ years of exploration geology experience
• Strong experience across exploration drilling programs and target generation
• Proven leadership experience supervising and mentoring geology teams
• Experience managing contractors, budgets and exploration programs
• Strong geological interpretation skills across geological, geochemical and geophysical datasets
• Experience with Micromine, ArcGIS Pro/QGIS and geological databases
• Strong understanding of Queensland mining legislation and safety requirements
• Site Supervisor training (S123/G189 or equivalent)
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• First Aid Certificate
