The Role

You will provide commercially focused financial support and strategic business partnering to site operational teams including:

• Partnering closely with site operational leaders to provide financial and commercial support, to understand cost drivers and operational performance
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting and operational analysis processes.
• Preparing journals, accruals, reconciliations and supporting working papers to deliver month-end.
• Maintain key financial models (stockpile, mine development, amortisation) with a strong understanding of drivers.
• Delivering financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Supporting capital expenditure requests, fixed asset management and finance transformation initiatives.
• Preparation of the reporting and compliance with State and Private royalties for the relevant operations.
• Building strong relationships with site teams through regular monthly travel and stakeholder engagement.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, with CA/CPA qualification.
• Previous experience within mining and/or ASX-listed business environments.
• Strong management accounting, financial analysis and advanced Excel capability.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and business partnering skills.
• The ability to undertake regular monthly site travel and work collaboratively within a high-performing finance team.
• A current West Australian C Class driver’s licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
