Senior Exploration Geologist

About the Role

Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you will play a key role in generating and advancing exploration targets from concept through to drill testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and mature high-quality drill-ready targets
• Build and prioritise a pipeline of exploration opportunities
• Integrate geological, geochemical, geophysical and regolith datasets
• Conduct geological and structural interpretations
• Design and oversee drilling programs
• Interpret drilling results and recommend follow-up programs
• Produce technical reports and exploration models
• Maintain QA/QC standards and data integrity
• Lead field activities, contractors and junior geologists
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and heritage requirements

About You

• Degree qualified in Geology
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Senior Exploration Geologist capacity
• Strong experience working within the Yilgarn Craton
• Proven target generation and discovery-focused exploration experience
• Strong understanding of regolith geology and regolith-based exploration techniques
• Demonstrated success generating drill-ready targets
• Excellent structural geology and geological interpretation skills
• Experience with Leapfrog, Micromine, QGIS and/or MapInfo
• Knowledge of WA mining regulations and JORC requirements
• Current WA Manual Driver's Licence
