Senior Contracts & Procurement Specialist
Location: Perth CBD
Contract: 12-Month Assignment (with potential extension)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Contracts & Procurement Specialist to join a major project delivery team supporting large-scale construction and infrastructure works.

In this role, you will provide end-to-end contract and procurement support, from tender development through to contract administration and close-out, while working closely with project, engineering, legal and commercial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, coordinate and evaluate tender packages for construction contracts, procurement and services.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve commercial outcomes.
  • Manage tendering activities in accordance with procurement and contracting plans.
  • Prepare and maintain high-quality contract and procurement documentation.
  • Support contract administration, including correspondence, variations and contract notices.
  • Develop pricing schedules, methods of measurement and rules of credit.
  • Assess payment claims, contract variations and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
  • Maintain contract records and procurement reporting to ensure compliance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior team members where required.

About You

You will be a commercially minded contracts professional with strong experience supporting major construction, mining or infrastructure projects.

To be successful, you will have:

  • 5+ years' experience in senior contracts and procurement or contract administration roles.
  • Strong experience with construction contracts, procurement and contract management.
  • Experience managing variations, payment claims and EOT claims.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
