Senior Contracts Administrator

About the Role

Reporting into our commercial leadership team and working closely with Project Managers and operational stakeholders, you'll play a key role in managing commercial performance across active Civil & Mining projects. This position is ideal for an experienced Contracts Administrator ready to step into a more senior role with greater commercial influence and future leadership opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing contract administration across multiple civil and mining projects
• Reviewing contract terms and identifying commercial risks and opportunities
• Preparing, negotiating and administering variations and claims
• Managing contract correspondence, notices and formal communications
• Supporting Project Managers with commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control
• Preparing and submitting monthly progress claims
• Maintaining contract compliance registers and contractual records
• Monitoring project KPIs and reporting on commercial performance
• Working with finance, legal and operational teams to resolve commercial matters
• Supporting subcontract administration and procurement activities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in Contract Administration or Commercial Management
• Background within civil construction, mining or related infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing variations, claims and contract correspondence
• Strong understanding of Australian construction and mining contracts
• Experience partnering closely with Project Managers in live project environments
• Commercial acumen with strong cost analysis and risk management capability
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Relevant qualification in Commerce, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar highly regarded
