About the Role
We are now looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join our skilled commercial team. Reporting directly to the General Manager (Commercial), this integral role will see you leading the commercial management of a new Through Life Support (TLS) project. This role will suit someone with strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills as well as experience in procurement.
- Effective and timely management of contracts and commercial activities
- Liaison with a range of internal and external contacts
- Optimising commercial outcomes across rollingstock projects
- Acting as the commercial representative for allocated projects
- Providing support and guidance to the procurement team
- Involvement with progress claims, forecasting, financial and project reporting
This is a fulltime, permanent role, ideally based onsite at our depot in Cardiff, NSW.
About You:
- 7+ years demonstrated experience in commercial management
- Previous experience in rollingstock, construction, engineering, manufacturing or other relevant industry highly regarded
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Law, Business Commerce, or similar
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence within a complex environment
- Proven ability to problem solve and develop improvements
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
