Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

Drive the future of decarbonisation infrastructure with a leading Energy Development Projects team!

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to deliver technical excellence on renewable energy projects, including overhead transmission lines, solar farms, and wind farm civil packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage detailed engineering design packages and enabling works for large-scale energy projects.
• Undertake and review civil engineering designs, including site development, bulk earthworks, and drainage systems.
• Specify and provide technical input to basis of designs; review and draft technical reports.
• Establish and update technical design standards and procedures to ensure best practice.
• Support construction teams with procurement and technical queries.
• Manage and implement design changes and optimisations for project efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks and reviews of design documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Engineering tertiary qualification (Civil/Structural).
• Extensive detailed design engineering experience with bulk earthworks.
• Must have previous experience on renewable energy projects.
• Onsite construction experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge and application of Australian Standards (Civil/Structural).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented, highly self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks.
