The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for a Senior Administrator – HSE to provide support to the team at our Health and Safety team at Cape Preston. This role is offered on a fulltime 8/6 FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the General Manager Health & Safety, the Senior Administrator – HSE’s duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Administration duties include but are not limited to administrative support for the HSE department, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Injury Management, Security & Emergency Services and Environment.
  • Monitoring HSE Admin and CPM Health and safety mailboxes for related workflow; leave, travel and site access processing for HSE employees and contractors/visitors
  • Coordination of HSE communications including preparation for approval and distribution of the Daily Information and HSE Notices in line with the CPM HSE Communications Procedure and Corporate Affairs Guidelines.
  • SAP processing in line with the HSE budget; PR creation, stores reservations, sourcing approvals and SES invoices for payment. ANSI and MESI processing for related HSE warehouse items.
  • Coordination of HSE meetings including HSE Leadership meeting, Quarterly HSE forums and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Coordination of statutory appointments; ensuring roles and employees are accurately reflected in SinoONE, notifications to regulators (DMIRS and Radiological Council) via SRS or written letters, coordination of appointment letter templates, signing and record book updates.
  • Drafting and coordination of formal correspondence to regulators.
  • Monitoring Cintellate Support mailboxes, working with the H&S Specialist to ensure processing and primary classification of new incidents, closing declassified incidents, statistics creation, general enquiries and access requests via ServiceNOW.
  • Monitoring SRS Alerts mailbox: reporting notifiable statutory appointments, reporting SH Rep training dates and working with the H&S Specialist for reporting of notifiable incidents and compliance where required.
  • Assisting H&S Specialist with HSE document management when required, updating H&S intra/extranet.
* Cyclone administration including organisation of the Cyclone Management Committee meetings, minutes, supporting documentation, managing communications including distribution of the Cyclone e-Alerts to the business and updating the 1800 information line. * Crisis and Emergency Management administrative support * Site HSE Offices coordination; consumables, stationery and facilities maintenance. * General point of contact for all Health and Safety Administrative matters.

Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Cintellate
  • SRS
  • SAP

Skills:

Competent office administration skills are essential for success in this fast-paced role. Experience with incident management databases and any exposure to HSE systems will be highly regarded.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a close knit, dynamic team environment are all pre-requisites for this role

Experience

3-5 years’ administration, preferably in an HSE role.
