Your new role

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing external audits and preparing statutory reports under IFRS. You’ll act as a primary contact for auditors, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with group and local accounting standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and improving the group audit process
• Preparing financial statements and disclosure notes within strict deadlines
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables for global and local stakeholders
• Driving process improvements and supporting finance transformation initiatives
• Maintaining strong internal controls and governance

What you’ll need to succeed

• Degree in Accounting or Commerce and CPA/CA qualification
• Must have prior audit experience – Big 4 trained is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in group accounting/reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/AASB and statutory reporting
• Proven experience managing external audits
• Advanced Excel skills and SAP experience desirable
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
