About the Role
We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join a high-performing site team on a large-scale construction project.
This is a hands-on role working closely with supervisors and contractors, supporting daily HSE activities and driving a strong safety culture across site.
Ideal for someone looking to step into or develop within a Tier 1 project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of HSE systems, procedures, and policies
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard identification
- Assist with incident investigations and reporting
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings
- Monitor compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Maintain HSE documentation and reporting
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture
What You’ll Need (Must Haves)
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, mining, oil & gas, or similar
- Strong understanding of WHS principles and legislation
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to work FIFO in a remote environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
Highly Regarded (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to HSE roles or safety systems
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 / AS4801
- ICAM or similar investigation training
- Cert IV in Training, Leadership, or Safety-related discipline
- Experience with safety systems or reporting tools
