Housekeeping Team Leader RDV
Salary: $86,957 **Roster:**9:5
**Location:**Roxby Downs Village
ESS Manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities or “villages” for remote works, providing the essential comforts such as a hot meal, a clean bed, freshly laundered workwear to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home.
The Position:
The RDV Team Leader supports daily operations across the RDV village. This role suits a motivated all‑rounder who enjoys learning new skills, taking initiative, and leading by example. The Team Leader helps maintain high standards, supports team development, and ensures smooth, safe, and efficient operations across RDV.
Operational Support
- Provide coverage for admin breaks and assist during peak admin periods.
- Manage ACA housekeeping software tasks, including room swaps and reporting room issues.
- Support housekeeping during high‑demand periods, including assisting with room cleaning, linen pick‑ups, and waste removal.
- Assist with food service safety and quality checks.
- Coordinating deep cleaning projects.
- Participate in truck day operations, including forklift operation or spotting (forklift licence desirable but training will be provided).
- Coordinate waste removal and linen pick‑ups with the housekeeping team.
- Controlling cleaning operation stock levels.
Facilities & Cleaning Duties
- Conduct regular room checks with the RDV manager to ensure standards are met.
- Clean BHP Town Office Facilities and Roxby Village public toilets.
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide field leadership across all RDV areas.
- Train new staff in correct procedures and workplace standards.
- Undertake the RDV training plan and support others through theirs.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team environment.
- Provide leave coverage for the RDV Manager when required.

- Full Australian Driver’s Licence (required).
- Forklift Licence (desirable).
