Rope Access Technician

The Role

SRG Global is currently seeking qualified Rope Access Technicians that are skilled in the following areas: Rope Access Boilermaker, Rope Access Riggers, Rope Access Fitters and Rope Access Blaster Painters to join our team.

This role is on a Permanent Full-Time basis located in Gladstone, QLD. This will be an opportunity to work for one of the industry leaders in Rope Access services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, inspect and maintain rope access systems to provide safe and reliable access for high-access work at height
• Conduct risk assessments, pre-work safety checks and equipment inspections while ensuring compliance is within industry standards
• Perform trade-specific tasks using rope access methods such as mechanical fitting, structural assembly or adjustment of components while suspended
• Prepare and apply surface treatments and coatings including surface preparation, mixing/applying paints and finishes to structures accessed via rope
• Maintain tools, equipment and personal protective gear

The successful applicant will have:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Current IRATA qualification
• Boiler making OR Rigging OR Fitter OR Blasting and Painting tickets
• Valid Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
• White Card
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a 3-site Blue Medical inclusive of a Drug and Alcohol Screen
